It's a BOY!

That is right. We are having a little boy! His name is Jack David Fedell and he has the cutest little profile. Ryan and i are so excited. We both teared a little at the ultrasound. Jack was very cooperative and we knew he was our little guy very quickly. The ultrasounds tech gave us a 99.9% accuracy of him being a boy. Right after the dr.'s appointment, Ryan wanted to go get a little outfit for him. He picked out a little green and white striped onesie with a frog on the front and a little frog face on the bottom. He has it hanging on the office door and picks it up and looks at it all the time. Ryan is really excited to have a little man. I am also excited to be a mom to a little boy. It will be a whole new adventure for me.

Last night when i laid down to go to sleep, the baby started to move quite a bit. I told Ryan that the baby was moving and he wanted to try to see if he could feel him. I told him that he was probably still too little, but showed him where the baby had been moving. Ryan laid his hand on my lower belly and held it firm and still. Sure enough, a few minutes later Jack gave a mighty kick! It was one of the strongest movements that i have felt and Ryan was able to feel it as well. He was so so so excited! Ryan said that Jack was trying to connect with his daddy already. It was so sweet.
So, now we are going to have to start getting ready for our baby boy. Now comes all the crib/stroller/car seat decisions. Any advice on those would be great!
Here is a picture of our little man.

We have our ultrasound tomorrow. We are praying that the baby is healthy and perfect in every way. AND we just might find out what we are going to be having...

The Baby likes Nashville

I am in Nashville for 13 days working with hosts from two different countries and also some work the the Italian 700 club. i calculated that i spent 6 weeks total in Nashville last year. I like Nashville, it is a nice city. It not too exciting when i am here by myself and spend most of my days in a dark studio. The shopping can be good though. :)
The week before i left for Nashville, i have been having some pain on the sides of my stomach. It was like my muscles were tensing and stretching, which obviously, they are. I had talked to a friend of mine who is also pregnant and she warned me that i was indeed stretching for a growth spurt. She said the same thing happened to her and than 2 days later she "popped". When i arrived, i was still wearing 2 of my regular pair of jeans with out any problems. I wore one pair last Saturday without any discomfort. I went to put the same pair of jeans on 4 days later and they would not button!! My stomach has really gotten big! One of my co-workers was down for a few days and commented on my belly. She said that when she saw me last week that i didnt look pregnant and than she saw me at the studio i looked completely different! The baby must really like Nashville, because it has decided to show up, in a big way!
