2ft 2in

We had Jack's 4 month doctor's appointment on Tuesday. He is now 26 inches long and weighs in at a whoopin' 12 lbs 10 oz. He is in the 9oth percentile for his height and has moved up to the 25th percentile for his weight. Ryan likes to say that is he 2 ft 2in tall instead. It has a better ring. The doctor said that our boy is perfect and everything is working perfectly.

Jack has been waking up every 3 hours for the last week after sleeping 6-7 hours straight. The dr recommended that we just let him cry, that he is not hungry, he is just waking up. If i feed him, than it will get him in a habit of night "snacking". So, two nights ago we let him cry. It broke my heart, poor baby. He was just fussy for 5 minutes, than he screamed bloody murder for a full 5 mins and than just passed right out. Last night he woke up, fussed for a few minutes and than went back to sleep. It was so hard the first night to let him cry, but last night it was wonderful to sleep straight till 5am!

Now, for something more fun than crying at night...a cow outfit! My mom picked it up for him at a garage sale and we had to put him in it. With a face like that, you can see how hard it was for me to let him cry!
